Hodgson Academy has recently created a twitter account, purely for the purposes of Teaching and Learning. This account has been made to showcase the great strategies and innovative ways that staff teach on a daily basis. It also aims to share Teaching and Learning Strategies from around the world and the UK and is linked directly to our Teaching and Learning Blog! So far, we have been following some of the top educational professionals and leading CPD names to help spread new initiatives and ideas and to improve our teaching on a daily basis.
The whole of the Fylde Coast Schools are on Twitter and by following them we are able to see and learn more about how to motivate and challenge students in the classroom.
Twitter allows you to look outside of your own classroom and school and to look at the wider educational system in the UK. You can then see how others are teaching and how they use easy strategies to encourage progression and to also reduce the workload!
