Our local Primary School, The Breck, paid the Food department a visit during Remembrance Week, as the year 6's have been learning about the World War 2. We were asked if students could participate in ration cooking to understand exactly what it was like all those years ago.
After researching different recipes, we produced Rock Buns, as they were a celebratory dish once we had won the war. The outcomes were brilliant and very yummy.
Thank you to all the year 6's that took part, what a lovely day and what a way to remember!
