A fresh look at an old topic...

My Year 7 class has had to cover a lot of information about the Tudors. They are currently preparing for their assessment and I wanted to provide a mixture of activities for revision lessons.

One very successful lesson involved re-writing the lyrics to 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air'  to tell the story of Henry VIII's break with Rome.

The students were very enthusiastic and it also worked well as a fun way to practise literacy skills.
