Interactive Learning in Geography

As the new specification has been introduced within the GCSE course, students now have to look at ecosystems and how animals adapt to their surroundings. To make this more memorable and interesting, we brought in an expert along with animals that have adaptations from the tropical rainforest.

We first trialled this at Open Evening with the intention on bringing the animals into lessons to help with the student’s memory levels for adaptations.

We feel that this experience will be memorable for revision in Year 10 and provide a real focus point for the students' learning.
