An unsual approach to drawing!

Year 9 students were given the challenge of completing observational drawings using materials and methods which they had not used before.
Students had to complete their first drawings standing up and at arms length. This created distance between themselves and their work.

Their later drawings involved having the paper on the floor with charcoal attached to the end of sticks.

All students embraced the challenge and all created imaginative and textural pieces of work.
