60 Seconds!

by Andrew Day
Assistant Principal and Teacher of History

The idea is that students talk for 60 seconds on a topic covered without repetition, hesitation or factual error. It may sound easy but it isn't! If they break one of the three rules, then they are buzzed out. It becomes very competitive and is a great way to engage students.

It not only tests their factual recall but it develops students' speaking skills in front of the class.
