On Thursday 7th July we took 81 students to the Imperial War Museum in Manchester. After a delightful journey down the M6, we arrived in sunny Manchester Quays.
Moreover, the students were able to enjoy the 'Big Picture Show' with two films focused on Life during the War and Children in War.
Students were able to peruse the exhibits which included interactive displays, artefacts and tanks.
To conclude the day, staff and students were able to enjoy their lunch on the side of Manchester Quays in the beautiful sunshine.
Many thanks to Ms Bate, Mrs Foley and Mr Mitchell for accompanying the History Team on this trip!
