This first term of Year 8 has seen students researching and
forming opinions on renewable and non-renewable energy resources. Students have
actively found which form of energy is the cleanest and have decided what the
future holds for Britain. This topic moves on to the local debate of fracking,
getting the students to evaluate whether they want it to occur in the North-West - so close to home.
We have found that, through giving the student little restrictive instruction,
they have managed to create something that is fun and exciting.
