Transforming

One of the ways in which I ask my classes to show their understanding of new knowledge is to transform it into a different format. This has the added benefit of bringing in skills from other subject areas. It also allows students to develop knowledge using their independence.

These are just two ways that students can transforming.
  • Written information into a graph: this allows students to  develop numeracy skills.
 
 
  • Written information into diagrams: this allows students to practise literacy skills.
