This year the History department have branched out onto the
World Wide Web! We have set up an Instagram account ( @histhodgson ) as a way to
praise students by posting excellent examples of work and also as a revision
tool. I have been putting up posts before assessments and mock exams aimed at
specific year groups or on specific topics.
Over Easter, I was aiming for a post
a day in the run up to the GCSE mocks for year 10 and exams for year 11. The
account has been well received by the kids who seem to find it easy to access
and enjoy being able to see their work put out there for others to see!
Students are able to comment on the pictures and information I post with any
specific questions and I am able to direct them to videos, audio bites and revision
websites to aid them in their revision!
