On
the 21st June, a small group of Year 8 went to the Imperial War Museum in
Manchester with Mr Grisdale and Miss Ellmes. The students had the chance to
explore the museum's displays and complete an activity trail on the British
experience of World War One. We also got to see the 'Big Picture Show' in the
museum which talked about the importance of remembrance. Before departing we
had a packed lunch by the quayside in the lovely June sunshine.
