Teacher of Geography
Some
of our last Year 7 students entered a poetry and art competition based on climate
change with their wonderful art
pieces and poems.
It fitted really well in to many of our topics that we teach in Geography, especially Climate Change and Plastics. It has been lovely to see some of students really engage with the competition and a real topical global problem.
They were short listed and then three of our students were selected to be published in the Poetry in Peril anthology: we were all incredibly proud of these students.
Each winning student was awarded their anthology in assembly and were invited to the book launch of the Anthology in Manchester and Birmingham.
