Recall Sheet in Physics

The students in my Year 9 Physics class have been studying Energy and there are a few equations that they need to be able to recall. This has been used as a starter and knowledge check throughout their learning journey.

Students are taught how and where to apply the equations, followed by them being given the name of the equation or the factors that it may depend on.

Students are then asked to think of their own question and provide an answer using the correct units.

To differentiate or challenge students, we are able to remove certain aspects of their recall sheet.

This is easily adaptable for many subjects and has subsequently been taught in the Electricity topic and Forces.
