Creative Revision in Geography

by K. Connal,
Assistant Head of Humanities

At this time of year, we are focusing on revising previous topics covered in Key Stage 4. Our challenge is to make revision challenging and engaging to ensure knowledge retention.

This week, I looked at the positives and negative of different coastal management techniques but in a way that made the students think harder.

Students were asked to link the characteristics of different management strategies to an animal. The results were very creative and showed a great understanding of the topic.
